Findings released Monday address the July collision that killed a van driver; a separate train crossing crash was reported in Peru.
Danish transport accident authority Havarikommissionen published a report Monday finding a blind angle in a van may have prevented the driver from seeing an oncoming train before a fatal collision.
The crash occurred at 18:47 on 5 July last year at crossing 77 on Kådnervej between Tinglev and Gråsten, Denmark. The 24-year-old van driver was killed.
Two publishers have reported a separate train crossing collision in Callao, Peru. A car collided with a train at the crossing on Daniel Alcides Carrión and 28 de Julio avenues in Carmen de la Legua-Reynoso.
The car driver was trapped in the wreckage and sustained injuries. One passenger in the vehicle was unharmed.
