Guadalupe Taddei has lost the presidency of Mexico's Instituto Nacional Electoral following allegations of conflicts of interest, electoral vendor collusion and resource triangulation.

Taddei assumed leadership of the INE in April 2023. She held the post for three and a half years prior to her removal.

Reporting published 31 October 2026 from Mexico City by EL NORTE states a business network linked to Taddei secured 2.561 billion pesos in electoral contracts over 12 years.

The publication alleges that bidding processes for these awarded contracts were simulated.

No public statement from Taddei has been published in relation to the contract allegations as of the filing dates of these reports.
