Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier filed 22 criminal charges against Tamra Marshon Stewart and Keysha Monique Epps regarding the abuse of four children. ^[1] Investigators examined conduct occurring from January 2020 through April 2026 involving four children confined in a semi-truck sleeper cab. ^[2] Prosecutors accuse the women of sexual battery, molestation, physical violence, neglect, and permanent disfigurement. ^[3] Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced that Tamra Marshon Stewart, 37, of Jacksonville, and Keysha Monique Epps, 51, of Atlanta, were charged in Orange County, Florida, with multiple counts of sexual battery, molestation, and child neglect. ^[4] Stewart admitted to three sexual batteries against one girl during a post-Miranda interview, including an offense that occurred in Orlando. ^[5] Investigators allege Epps knew about the abuse but failed to stop it or report it to authorities as required by Florida law. ^[6] Stewart faces two counts of sexual battery by a person in familial or custodial authority, two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation of a child under 12, two counts of battery of a child by expelling certain fluids or materials, two counts of child neglect without great bodily harm, and two counts of child neglect causing permanent disfigurement; Epps faces the same charges plus four counts of failure to report child abuse. ^[7] The two girls told investigators they had been sexually abused by Stewart for years, and the two boys reportedly told authorities they witnessed the abuse and were beaten after confronting Stewart and informing Epps. ^[8]
