On 2026-09-02, Sasha Sokol's legal team announced that Mexican TV producer Luis del Llano was arrested under two orders issued by a judge of the Superior Court of Justice and taken to the San Fernando Sanctions Center in Tlalpan, Mexico City. ^[1] Producer Luis de Llano was detained in Mexico City on Wednesday and transferred to the San Fernando Administrative Sanctions and Social Reintegration Center. ^[2] Luis De Llano was declared guilty of maintaining a sex-affective relationship with singer Sasha Sokol when she was 14 years old and he was 39. ^[3] Luis De Llano, a music and television producer, was arrested in Mexico City on Wednesday afternoon by the Secretariat of Citizen Security. ^[4] Producer Luis de Llano was released from administrative detention in Mexico City after serving 24 hours of an arrest ordered by a judge in the Sasha Sokol case. ^[5] The legal team said the arrest resulted from del Llano's resistance to comply with a final and unchallengeable ruling of Mexico's Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), with each judicial resolution imposing 15 hours of arrest, accumulative. ^[6] The legal team said the SCJN ruling confirmed del Llano's responsibility for moral damages to Sasha Sokol after it was proven she was a victim of sexual abuse while a minor. ^[7] The legal team stated that the two arrest orders are enforcement measures (medidas de apremio) for two separate failures derived from the SCJN judgment. ^[8] Luis de Llano reportedly refused to publish the summary of the SCJN sentence confirming his liability for moral damages against Sasha Sokol. ^[9] Luis de Llano reportedly refused to record and exhibit a public apology to Sasha Sokol before the judge. ^[10] The detention was executed following two administrative arrest orders related to a final judicial sentence from the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN). ^[11] The Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) informed the public that the detention of Luis de Llano was a coercive measure for contempt of court. ^[12]
