During the Second Government Report, President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that the federal Secretariat of Culture strengthened the public arts education system through an integral strategy combining free education, infrastructure investment, and academic updates. ^[1] President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo dedicated a message to her administration's management of science, technology, and culture during her Second Government Report. ^[2] The President highlighted interventions in over 1,600 spaces, including dance halls, music rooms, and academic areas, and the acquisition of approximately 23,000 musical instruments. ^[3] The strategy includes a new policy to eliminate registration fees, allowing Mexicans to exercise their right to free and quality artistic training. ^[4] Under the Comprehensive Plan for the Renovation of Arts and Culture Schools, approximately 1,850 million pesos were invested in the first stage for the renovation, maintenance, and equipment of 37 educational and research plants. ^[5] The administration formed interinstitutional teams of professors, researchers, and students assigned to 20 strategic projects for technological innovation, scientific development, and humanistic studies. ^[6] The Coatlicue project marks the beginning of the development of a supercomputer projected to be the most powerful in Latin America, with a calculated capacity of 314 trillion operations per second. ^[7] Tuition fees were eliminated entirely at schools affiliated with INBAL, INAH, and CCC, and the government announced a budget of 1,500 million pesos for the renovation of art schools. ^[8]
