Agents of the Agencia de Investigación Criminal of the Procuraduría General de Justicia del Estado de Hidalgo detained two individuals in the Parque de los Encinos neighborhood of Mineral de la Reforma. ^[1] On September 3, 2026, authorities in Pachuca, Hidalgo, detained four suspects in an operation by the Secretaría de Seguridad Pública de Hidalgo targeting a criminal group that robs cargo transport on the Mexico-Pachuca federal highway. ^[2] Four men were detained on the federal Mexico-Pachuca highway after being identified as suspects related to cargo theft. ^[3] A transparent plastic bag containing white granular material and three plastic bags with pink, yellow, and white solid substances, appearing to be methamphetamine, were found in A. A. C. O.'s vehicle. ^[4] The arrests occurred when the suspects were allegedly conducting activities related to the commercialization of narcotics. ^[5] The second detainee, identified as A. A. C.
