Jonathan Meléndez, a keyboardist for the Mexican band Camilo Séptimo, was found dead inside his home in Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico, along with his pregnant wife Ana Paula, their three-year-old daughter Sofía, and a domestic worker named Aleyda. ^[1] Authorities located the vehicle used to transport the two detained suspects in the Héroes Tecámac, section Bosques area. ^[2] The vehicle was found as part of investigations into the multi-victim homicide registered in the Grand Viure subdivision in Zona Esmeralda, Atizapán de Zaragoza. ^[3] The victims of the homicide included Jonathan Meléndez, a keyboardist for the rock band Camilo Séptimo, his wife Ana Paula, their three-year-old daughter Sofía, a young woman named Aleyda who worked with them, and a family dog. ^[4] Diego Sebastián "N" and Gerardo "N" were transferred in an armored vehicle from the Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México in Toluca to the Barrientos Penitentiary in Tlalnepantla. ^[5] Jonathan Melendez, a 38-year-old keyboardist for the band Camilo Séptimo, was found dead in the main bedroom of a home in the Grand Viure subdivision with a gunshot wound to the head. ^[6] The General Prosecutor's Office of the State of Mexico (Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México) reported that suspects Diego Sebastián 'N' and Gerardo 'N' believed Jonathan Melendez possessed millions of dollars in Bitcoin. ^[7] Investigators hypothesize that the crime was motivated by an economic dispute between Meléndez and Diego Sebastián 'N', a known associate with whom Meléndez had business ties involving vacation rental properties in Valle de Bravo. ^[8] Security cameras recorded a man named Diego 'N' entering the Grand Viure residential complex around 5:24 PM on September 2, 2026, without forcing the door. ^[9] The victims were found bound with their hands tied, gagged, and shot in the head, while the domestic worker was attacked from behind. ^[10]
