Timothy Loosemore, 63, was found guilty by a Supreme Court jury of manslaughter but not guilty of murder regarding the death of Maree Vermont, 60, at her home in Goldie, central Victoria, in 2023. ^[1] A four-year-old Nigerian dwarf goat named Goldie assisted firefighters battling the Rock Creek Fire in Colorado Springs, Colorado, by guiding the crew through steep terrain and pausing to bleat encouragement. ^[2] On June 25, 1876, Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho warriors defeated soldiers of the United States 7th Cavalry, including Lt.
