The Metropolitan Police of Cúcuta reported that a terrorist car bomb attack on the police station in Los Patios resulted in one civilian death and nine injuries. ^[1] Jhon Cárdenas Carrillo, an 18-year-old police auxiliary, was severely injured in a car bomb attack on the Los Patios police station in Norte de Santander. ^[2] Eight civilians were injured in the attack, identified as Yolanda Rojas Flórez, Ingrid Arizmendi Calderón, Leydi Ruiz Cordero, Bengy Ballesteros Serrano, Brayan Cruz Cárdenas, Juan Andrés Hernández Díaz, Alexander Parada Márquez, and Wilson Márquez Martínez. ^[3] The explosion occurred at 11:15 pm when a stolen vehicle passed the location, triggering explosives that destroyed several motorcycles and damaged police infrastructure. ^[4] Two police officers were critically wounded, including Auxiliary Jhon Cárdenas Carrillo and Intendant Luis Ramírez Durán, while five other uniformed officers suffered minor injuries from concussion. ^[5] Jhon Cárdenas was injured while performing his duties when a vehicle loaded with explosives was detonated in front of the police station. ^[6] The attack resulted in one death and eleven injuries, including nine civilians and two police officers. ^[7] Abelardo De La Espriella, a government official, cited the security council and anticipated a 'hand of iron' against those responsible for the attack. ^[8]
