Cardinal Infrastructure Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDNL) announced that A.L. Grading Contractors (ALGC) was awarded an approximately $40 million contract for the Carnesville, Georgia, Walmart Sorting Facility. ^[1] Walmart launched a promotional campaign called 'Precios que No se Tocan' (Prices That Won't Be Touched) that guarantees prices for specific products will not change until November 20. ^[2] Benji Wood, Chief Operating Officer of Cardinal Infrastructure Group, stated that the Allied Paving acquisition expands turnkey operations and will bring more than 1,000 jobs to the area. ^[3] The 164-acre project scope includes mass grading of 1.8 million cubic yards, 54,000 linear feet of storm, sewer, and water utility work, a 1.5 million-square-foot building pad, and 83,000 yards of asphalt paving. ^[4] Participating categories for the price freeze include beverages and juices, dairy and derivatives, meats and frozen foods, pantry staples, bakery and pastry, fruits and vegetables, personal care, baby products, and household cleaning. ^[5] The 'Precios que No se Tocan' campaign applies to both physical store locations and Walmart's online digital platforms. ^[6] Cardinal Infrastructure Group stated that the Allied Paving acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter. ^[7] Walmart stated that the campaign aims to provide greater certainty for consumers organizing their monthly spending by maintaining established prices for participating items throughout the campaign period. ^[8]
