The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City initiated an investigation to determine if police officers from unit MX-6560-4 committed irregularities during an intervention at a property located at Bucareli 109 in the Juárez neighborhood of the Cuauhtémoc borough. ^[1] Martha was linked to a criminal process on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, for the alleged hiring of hitmen to kill Víctor Olguín, a former inmate who sold snacks in the Morelos neighborhood. ^[2] On September 2, 2026, relatives and friends of Martha, a 73-year-old woman, blocked Doctor Río de la Loza Avenue in Mexico City to demand an objective investigation into her arrest. ^[3] A report prepared by officers from unit MX-6560-4 for their sector chief, obtained by Excélsior, states that Luis Ángel Días Bica Negra, a 27-year-old man who presented himself as Central Government personnel, did not show any document crediting access, possession, or intervention authority over the property. ^[4] According to the SSC's information card, uniformed officers arrived at the property at the request of government personnel after receiving a report about the presence of six workers, and the employees left without incidents after being informed the property was secured. ^[5] The police report establishes that, 'due to the lack of documentation, the officers consulted their command and received instructions to withdraw'. ^[6] Maydelin Flores, Martha's granddaughter, stated that her grandmother did not hire hitmen from the Tepito Union and claimed the accusation arose from conflicts between the two families. ^[7] The prosecution presented no evidence showing Martha's participation in the crime, yet the judge determined there were sufficient elements to initiate the process against her. ^[8]
