Police in the Indian state of Odisha contacted the family of 29-year-old Sanatan Nayak to inform them that he was still alive after they had already conducted his funeral. ^[1] Oil prices on world markets are on track to end the week with a gain of more than 6% due to renewed conflict between the United States and Iran. ^[2] Sanatan Nayak went missing in late July after leaving his home on a bicycle, and his body was found approximately ten days later. ^[3] The family of Sanatan Nayak identified a decomposed body found in a rice field as their missing son and proceeded with a cremation. ^[4] 29-year-old Sanatan Naik, who suffered from a mental disorder, disappeared on July 27 in India's Odisha state. ^[5] Analysts said oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz remain seriously disrupted despite the US administration's claim that the situation is approaching normal, noting that only four cargo ships passed through on a recent day versus a ten-day average of about 15. ^[6] Rising energy prices have increased inflationary pressures and raised borrowing costs around the world. ^[7] Rystad Energy chief economist Claudio Galimberti warned that diesl affects almost all sectors of the economy and that inflation expectations are contributing to high yields on US government bonds. ^[8]
