A six-year-old girl was miraculously rescued by the Nepal Armed Police Force after being found barely conscious in the rubble of a landslide that devastated Nepal and China. ^[1] Rescue teams from Nepal, with the help of Chinese and Indian experts, are working through the night to reach hundreds of workers believed to be trapped inside the tunnels of at least 12 hydroelectric projects damaged by floods in the Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts of Nepal. ^[2] Sanju Khatri, an agent of the Nepalese Armed Police Force, stated that rescuers heard the six-year-old girl while registering the area and removing debris, and that she was barely conscious when moved to a camp. ^[3] The BBC reported that Nepalese police shared the story of the miraculous rescue of Manisha, a six-year-old girl who was trapped in a landslide that devastated Nepal and China. ^[4] The Nepal Disaster Management Authority indicated that 933 people are missing in the hydroelectric plants in the region affected by the floods. ^[5] Authorities report that over 950 people have died and approximately 4,400 are missing across Nepal and China due to the floods. ^[6] On Saturday, the child was flown to the pediatric emergency service at the Kathmandu University Hospital, where doctors reported her condition as stable and recovering. ^[7]
