Anthropic released version 2.1.260 of Claude Code, which adds a diff panel that opens beside the conversation in fullscreen mode to show uncommitted changes as Claude edits. [^1]

OpenAI has made GPT-6 Astra available to ChatGPT users on Pro, Enterprise, and Business Premium plans, via ChatGPT Work and Codex, and also offers the model through the OpenAI API, Microsoft Azure, and AWS Bedrock. [^2]

The update adds a likely cause for prompt-cache misses, such as tool definitions or system prompt changes, to the /cost command and the status line's prompt_cache field. [^3]

OpenAI announced that Pro, Business, and Enterprise ChatGPT subscribers also get the more capable GPT-6 Astra Pro, and its usage counts against their existing subscription quotas. [^4]

OpenAI said users on the Free and Go tiers of ChatGPT do not have access to GPT-5.6 Sol or GPT-6 Astra. [^5]

The release includes fixes for model switching being blocked for the session when an organization-managed plugin's marketplace could not be loaded. [^6]
