Microsoft officially announced the name for its developer-optimized Windows experience as Project Zenith. ^[1] Grant Kirkhope, composer of the Banjo-Kazooie series, said in an interview with FRVR that about three companies submitted proposals directly to Microsoft or Rare to make a new Banjo-Kazooie game, and he believes none of them succeeded. ^[2] Microsoft's Work Trend Index 2026 report states that 32% of India's workforce are classified as 'Frontier Professionals'. ^[3] Devices running Project Zenith will allow developers to run 30B+ parameter models locally and unmetered. ^[4] Logan Iyer, CVP of Windows platform and developer at Microsoft, stated that Project Zenith devices come with a preconfigured Windows setup for development and a set of tools curated for what developers reach for first. ^[5] Project Zenith is designed for new developer-focused devices equipped with 64GB or more of unified memory. ^[6] Grant Kirkhope said he thinks Rare is unlikely to develop the next Banjo-Kazooie game because it has many other projects, and he suggested Day 4 Night Studios as a suitable developer, noting he is involved in music for that studio's game Bradley the Badger. ^[7] Grant Kirkhope said Rare has rejected various proposals for the Banjo-Kazooie franchise, including an idea for an animated series based on the characters. ^[8] Grant Kirkhope said that while he previously believed there was no chance for another Banjo-Kazooie game, he now thinks there is a small possibility. ^[9] The same Work Trend Index 2026 found that 78% of India's AI users report that AI enables work that was not possible a year ago, compared with 58% of AI users globally. ^[10] Attackers held access inside Kyivstar, Ukraine's largest mobile operator, for at least seven months before the takedown in December 2023. ^[11] In 2024, Ukraine recorded 4,315 registered cyber incidents with 59 classified as critical, compared to 2,543 incidents in the previous year with 364 considered serious. ^[12]
