The authorities secured approximately 16,800 kilograms of apparent methamphetamine, 4,350 liters of precursors, and 5,700 kilograms of solid substances across the three sites. ^[1] The Mexican Navy, Federal Attorney's Office (FGR), and Sinaloa State Public Security Center (SSPC) located and disabled three clandestine laboratories linked to Los Chapitos in Corralejo, Sinaloa. ^[2] Omar García Harfuch, Mexico's Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, announced on September 3 that authorities seized approximately 16.8 tons of apparent methamphetamine during three operations in Sinaloa. ^[3] The DEA and Mexican authorities dismantled eight significant methamphetamine laboratories in Sinaloa, seizing more than 16 tons of methamphetamine. ^[4] The largest laboratory seized had a surface area of approximately 5,700 square meters and contained 16,350 kilograms of methamphetamine in various stages of production. ^[5] Authorities stated that the complex in Corralejo is the second-largest methamphetamine laboratory disabled during the current federal administration. ^[6] The seizure of the Corralejo complex is estimated to cause an economic impact of approximately 347 million dollars to criminal organizations by reducing their operational capacity. ^[7] The three operations combined resulted in the seizure of approximately 16.8 tons of methamphetamine, 645 liters of product in cooking, and over 7.6 tons of precursors and dual-use chemicals. ^[8]
