Mexico's Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno disqualified Fedang de México, S.A. de C.V., Ifaser, S.A. de C.V., and Roy González Padilla from participating in federal public administration contracts. ^[1] The Mexican Anti-Corruption and Good Government Secretariat sanctioned two companies and one individual for fraud and false documentation in public contracts. ^[2] The OIC of INDEP fined Fedang de México 1,389,110 pesos and barred it for 30 months for fraudulent billing under contract SAE/00067/2020. ^[3] The OIC of the Lotería Nacional fined Roy González Padilla 144,330 pesos and barred him for 3 months for altering tax compliance opinions and employer contribution certificates in tender LA-006HJY001-E129-2022. ^[4] The three sanctioned entities are now listed in the Directorio de Proveedores y Contratistas Sancionados, which prevents them from entering into new contracts with the public sector. ^[5] All sanctioned parties are now listed in the Directory of Sanctioned Suppliers and Contractors, prohibiting them from entering new contracts with the Mexican government. ^[6] The most severe case involved Fedang de México, S.A. de C.V., which received a 30-month ban and a fine of 1.389 million pesos for dolus intent in a vehicle scrap service contract. ^[7] The penalties imposed included bans lasting three to thirty months and fines totaling 1.668 million pesos. ^[8]
