Ultrahuman launched a new research program called Pulsomics built directly into the Ultrahuman app. ^[1] Users with an Ultrahuman Ring AIR or Ring PRO aged 18 years or above can opt in to share their health data to help fine-tune Ultrahuman's wellness models. ^[2] The initial Pulsomics program includes three studies: a sleep sufficiency study, a glucose metabolism study, and a VO2 Max study. ^[3] Ultrahuman says it will de-identify health data before use and will never sell or share it with advertisers, employers, or insurers. ^[4] Mohit Kumar, CEO of Ultrahuman, stated that Pulsomics enables any user to contribute to science and the creation of models predicting sleep needs and organ function. ^[5] Ultrahuman claims its Pulsomics platform offers gold standard privacy where data is de-identified before use and is never sold or shared with advertisers, employers, or insurers. ^[6] Upon registering for Pulsomics, users are asked to provide personal data including age, sex, height, weight, ethnicity, and skin tone information. ^[7]
