The Ministry of Public Works (PU) in Indonesia restored 100% of national roads and bridges in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) within two weeks following a series of earthquakes. ^[1] PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset (PPA) and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) collaborated to distribute 2 tons of logistical aid to earthquake victims in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) in August 2026. ^[2] Jemmy Setiawan, a special staff member for the Minister of Public Works, stated on September 1, 2026, that the ministry's priority sequence was to open access, ensure basic services, assess damage, and prepare for follow-up treatment. ^[3] The Ministry of Public Works deployed 39 excavators, 14 wheel loaders, 2 dump trucks, 1 dump truck, and 2,600 units of wire mesh (bronjong) to clear 17 national roads affected by 88 landslides and 3 fractures. ^[4] The Ministry of Public Works distributed 90 public hydrants, 12 water tankers, and 46 portable toilets to address water and sanitation disruptions in the affected areas. ^[5] M. Teguh Wirahadikusumah, CEO of PT PPA, stated on September 1, 2026, that the company prioritized a rapid response to the earthquake in NTT because the basic needs of affected communities could not wait. ^[6] The first phase of aid distribution was executed on August 19, 2026, at the BNPB Logistics Reception Post at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, delivering 1 ton of basic food supplies consisting of 196 packages of instant noodles, rice, corned beef, and sardines. ^[7] The second phase of aid distribution was executed on August 22, 2026, delivering 1 ton of diverse supplies including rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, eggs, UHT milk, regular milk, and drinking water, alongside operational support such as electricity and rations for field volunteers. ^[8]
