The Bogotá District Planning Secretariat implemented a new digital model for the Sisbén income registry effective September 1, 2026. ^[1] The Bogotá District Planning Secretariat modified the handling of Sisbén procedures starting September 1, 2026, to prioritize digital delivery of certificates and communications via email or text message. ^[2] During the first six months of 2026, more than 76,000 new survey requests and approximately 42,000 information updates were registered in Bogotá. ^[3] Physical attention continues to be available at 17 points in Bogotá, including SuperCADE locations in Suba, Américas, Bosa, 20 de Julio, Manitas, Engativá, and CAD. ^[4] The new system prioritizes sending documentation via email and uses text messages to inform users about the status of their applications. ^[5] Digitalization changes the delivery channel for documents but does not automatically modify the socio-economic classification of households. ^[6] The Secretariat will maintain in-person service options to prevent exclusion of citizens without internet connectivity or digital skills. ^[7] Updating a registration or classification does not directly result in the assignment or loss of a subsidy, as each program maintains its own income and eligibility requirements. ^[8]
